What did they lose? She lost her fiance on her wedding day.
History;
Charlotte grew up in a small town called Stormyvale, the only daughter of a farming family. They were not a well-off family, so Charlotte had to work outside the home at the local inn as a barmaid. The money that she brought home did not help. It was usually immediately applied to her father's tab at the pub.
This was her normal life for the most part.
Then,one day, when she was sixteen years old, Her father came to her and told her that he had arranged a marriage for her, and that she would be wed within two weeks.
Upon meeting the young man that she was to marry, she fell in love with his charming ways and decided to be a good wife to him.
She would never know that her father had sold her into marriage for 100 pieces.
On the day of her wedding, one of the brideswomen gave her a book. She was told it was something for her to record her memories of married life. When she opened it, it was blank, so she set it aside.
Not a half hour later, she was standing at the altar. They waited and waited for her groom to come, but he never came.
Hours later, a messenger came to the ceremony with the news that he had been killed by bandits on his way. However, there was no body recovered.
Charlotte fell into mourning, but when she opened her new book to write this, she found it filled with stories. What could this mean?
Personality;
On the outside, Charlotte is a very quiet, obedient person. She adapts very well to circumstances, taking them in stride. However, she secretly wishes that someone would take her far away from her family, and the perverts who always try to grab at her in the inn. She believes that there is another world out there, but she knows that she's not strong enough to do it by herself, so she does what little she can, in her own, quiet way.
It seems that she's more talkative when she writes than when she speaks.
Appearance;
Charlotte is always quiet, she sits quietly, she steps quietly when she walks. It's very hard to tell if she's even there, unless she speaks.
Most times, she looks as if she's thinking about something, with a gentle face.
She has darker blonde hair and hazel eyes. She's fairly short.
